STEPPING STONES

In addition to the above we also have parents who assist whenever required. We meet every Sunday at 10.45 and close at 12 noon. The aim of Stepping Stones is to introduce children to the principals of spiritual, moral and Christian lessons, these being mixed in with fun activities such as stories, craft, drama and music. At the moment we have approximately 16 children who regularly attend.  These children are mostly in the 3 – 8 age group.  Each child brings their own talent to Stepping Stones and everyone has an important place in our Church family. I strongly believe that by teaching our Children to love God we build a strong, spiritual foundation for them. Stepping Stones equips the children with the necessary spiritual tools for life’s journey, trust, prayer, Bible knowledge and love. Parents who teach their children to love God leave them an inheritance that will enable them to triumph over tragedy. It is never too early to begin reading the Bible to your child — a way to see everything in life through the lens of Jesus Christ. These are the easiest first steps your child will ever make.

PENNIES

‘Pennies’ is a club especially tailored for seniors and is open to all Senior Citizens who live within the community of Blackburn and Seafield. We meet on the last Thursday afternoon of each month at 1.30pm in our Church sun lounge from the month of October until April. We have a varied programme with speakers, games and videos, closing our meetings with nice cup of tea and a chat. We would like to extend this invitation to any new members interested in joining our group and can assure them a warm and friendly welcome!
